A thought or two
A thought or two You know, it strikes me that sometimes people get so caught up in making money, or learning how to make money, or trying to get others to make money for them by signing up under them, that they forget what is really important in life. Those would be family, true friends, and sharing hope and faith with each other. Whether that be in the form of God, or whatever else you may believe in, it is still sharing a part of yourself with new friends, that is important to you. As Easter approaches, I am reminded of the sacrifices my parents made for me when I was growing up. They always made sure I had decent clothing and shoes to wear, food to eat, and the knowledge that they loved me and stood behind me. I am also reminded of the greatest sacrifice of all, that was made for each and everyone of us. God gave His Son, so that we could be forgiven of our sins. Jesus paid that price with His life. The only price we have to pay, is to believe in Him, and accept the love He gives freely. God knows we are human, and make mistakes. Still He forgives us, and loves us, even when we do not deserve it. So this Easter Sunday... make that Good Friday, take one moment and thank God for the sacrifice He made, in giving the life of His only Son, so that we might live. Then think about what happened Easter morning, when Jesus rose from His grave, to prove once and for all, He truly was the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary. Love your family and friends, and yes, even your enemies, which is so much harder, just as God and Jesus did, and still do. God Bless everyone! Don't take offence if this is not how you believe.
